Joyous Wedding Anniversary

Ten years ago, yesterday, Mr. Theodore Nelson, our city treasurer, and Miss Gussie Blaine were united in marriage. By way of reminding Mrs. Nelson of the happy event Mr. Nelson on yesterday purchased for her a fine black armure dress and a pair of fine kid gloves. He little thought of the other nice articles then being prepared for presentation to them by some of their warmest friends. But the plans had been laid for a happy surprise, and early last evening a crowd collected at Mr. Bishop's and marching to Mr. Nelson's residence on North Main Street, serenaded him with tin-horn music. They were invited in, and after congratulations had been passed the following presents with cards attached were handed in to the ten year old bride and groom:

Mrs. William Jennings Bryan was the guest of Mrs. Theodore Nelson and Miss Lena Nelson, her daughter, at 4559 Forrestville avenue, Monday.

A Tin Wedding

The tin wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Nelson was appropriately celebrated last evening at their cosy home on North Main Street. Quite a number of friends participated in the joyous affair, and the presents were numerous, neat and appropriate.
