Rhineland Palatinate? [14 August 2012]

Saw your post on Dallan's talk page that you have ancestors from the Rhineland Pfalz/Palatinate area. I do, too. Most of mine are from a valley just due south of Bad Kreuznach. The emigrated in the 1830s and 1840s and settled in Buffalo, NY. Surname BETZ. Jillaine 14:27, 13 August 2012 (EDT)

The Germany's were in a sorry state at that time period and records are hard to get even when going to a local Perish. Warfare, Over Taxation, and disease was the norm. • view a searchable list of the pages in your tree -- The searchable list will be available about an hour after your tree has been imported.
