This Ordnance Survey map of 1900 from A Vision of Britain through Time locates all the original rural districts established in Wiltshire in 1894. In 1934 there were a number of mergers of neighbouring districts. Ramsbury Rural District was in the east central part of the county on the border of Berkshire. Pewsey Rural District was to the south and west and Marlborough Rural District directly to the west. To the north was Highworth Rural District. Ramsbury Rural District existed from 1894 until 1934 when it became part of the Marlborough and Ramsbury Rural District. [edit] List of Parishes
