[edit] Township of OlatheOlathe is a civil township situated in the central part of the county of Johnson, state of Kansas, United States of America. It was originally bounded on the north by the townships of Monticello and Shawnee, on the east by the townships of Oxford and Aubry, on the south by the township of Spring Hill, on the south and west by the township of Gardner, and on the west by the township of Lexington. Most of its territory has been annexed into the incorporated cities of Olathe and (in small part) Lenexa. [edit] HistoryOlathe was one of the eight original civil townships erected at a meeting of the county commissioners on 28 October 1857 after the county was erected in 1855.
