    William Albert Harris, eighty-four, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marie Angeline Rector, near Jericho Springs, Missouri at 2:00 pm Thursday July 15, 1948. The aged man had been bedfast for two months prior to his death. The deceased was born on October 15, 1862 at Neola, the son of Rice and Mary Ann (Killingsworth) Harris. He spent the greater part of his life in the vicinity of Milford, where he engaged in farming in his active years. On September 3, 1883 he was married. His wife died something like ten years ago. In addition to the daughter at whose home he died, he leaves two sons, Claude P. Harris of Jericho Springs and Jesse Harris of Milford. One brother John Harris of Dinuba, California, nineteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren also survive. The body was taken to the Beeny Funeral Home at Sheldon to be prepared for burial. The funeral service was announced for Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Round Prairie Church with internment to follow in the adjoining cemetery. The deceased was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church.
