  6. Services Set Monday for Claude Harris, 86

    Claude P. Harris, 86, Lamar Route 3, died at 7:45 am today at Barton County Memorial Hospital, after an illness of two weeks. Born September 6, 1888 in Howell County, Mr. Harris was the son of William Albert Harris and Margaret Hendricks. He had lived in Dade County for the last 40 years. He married Marie Winningham February 17, 1926. He was a farmer and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Dade County. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Fyfe, Jericho Springs and Mrs. Alma LeGrand, Lamar Route 4; a sister Mrs. Anna Rector, Lamar; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:00pm Monday at Chiles-Williamson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
