Earl Harris «u» «/u»Jesse Earl Harris, 65 of Sheldon address, died April 10, following a brief illness. He was born September 27, 1900 at Newport, Missouri. In 1934 he was married to Olive Leona Hall at Ft. Dodge, Iowa. They moved to Missouri in 1935 making their home in Cedar, Barton, and Vernon Counties. Survivors are his wife of the home; three sons, Cecil Leon, Lamar, Missouri; Everett Lee and Robert Earl both in the Marine Corps; a daughter, Reta Mae Richardson, Walker, Missouri; three grandchildren; one brother, Claude Harris, Jericho Springs; one sister, Mrs. Annie Rector, Lamar; nieces and nephews. Mr. Harris was self employed as a farmer. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00pm April 14 at the Harmony Baptist Church. Rev. Charley Brown officiating. Burial in Round Prairie Cemetery, under direction of Long's Funeral Home in Jericho Springs.
