June M. Haggard, 82, of Dixon, Calif., passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, at 9 a.m. at Kaiser Hospital in Vacaville of a sudden illness.

She was born on June 12, 1927, in Steele, Mo.

She will be interned at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in a private service on an unknown date.

June leaves behind her husband of 61 years, C. P. "Pete" Haggard. They met in kindergarten where Pete declared he would marry June some day. They had three children, Carl Haggard (Dee) of Nampa, Idaho, Dianne Stassi (Rick) of Dixon and John Haggard (Rose) of El Dorado Hills. She had six grandchildren, Eli Neri (Ashley), Sara Haggard (David), Kasey Haggard, Sadie Neri, Jesse Neri and Nicole Haggard. She spoiled them all with her homemade strawberry jam. She had one great-grandchild, Alyssa Neri.

Pete and June moved to Dixon in 1958 and owned and operated Dixon Auto Supply until 1982, when they retired.

Mom loved traveling to Oregon, Southern California and the cabin at Donner Lake. She was the best wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma ever. She leaves behind a lot of friends and her family who will miss her every day.
