    Viola Young Marshall died March 4, 1975, at Mid-South Christian Nursing Home, Memphis. Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the German-Aumon Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Franklin Williams officiated.

    The widow of Ellery Marshall, she was born April 27, 1887, to the late David and Santa Maria Lana Young in Wayne County, Missouri.

    She leaves four daughters: Beryl Ward, Atwater, Ca.; Golda Northern, Memphis; Helen Bledsoe, West Memphis; one son, James Roy Marshall, Memphis; one sister, Della Boone, Turlock, Ca.; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

    Interment was in Frakes Cemetery at the Bayou. German-Aumon Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.

    Pallbearers were J. D. Marshall, John H. Smith, Terry Wayne Marshall, Billy Northern, Jerry Bledsoe and Gary Bruton.
