    Funeral services were held Monday, August 10, 1970 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Original German Funeral Home of Steele for Thomas Ellery Marshall. Mr. Judson Woodbridge officiated.

    Mr. Marshall was born December 16, 1922, and died August 7,1970, at the age of 47.

    He leaves his mother, Mrs. Viola Marshall of Memphis; four sisters, Mrs. Beryl Ward of Atwater, Calif. Mrs. Golda Northern of Memphis, Mrs. Helen Bledsoe of West Memphis and Mrs. June Haggard of Dixon, Calif.; one brother, James Roy Marshall of Memphis.

    Interment was in Frakes Cemetery in Steele with the Original German Funeral Home of Steele in charge of arrangements.

    Pallbearers were J. L. Whitfield, Sandy Johnson, Harbert Pugh, David Whitfield, Roy Lee Barnes and Chester Barnes.
