    B. Beryl Rhyne Ward, 79, died at a hospital in Atwater, Calif., Friday, January 22, 1988. A daughter of the late Ellery and Viola Young Marshall, she was born October 22, 1908 in Steele, Mo. She lived in the Steele area until the 1930s when the Marshall family moved to California.

    Mrs. Ward was a mobile home park developer and manager in Anchorage, Alaska, and Ukiah, Calif., before retiring and moving to Atwater in 1964.

    She was a member of the Atwater Church of Christ, the Livingston Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and American Association of Retired Persons.

    Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 26, 1988 in the Ivers and Alcorn Atwater Funeral Chapel, with David Alessandro, minister of the Atwater Church of Christ officiating. Burial was at Winton District Cemetery.

    Mrs. Ward leaves two daughters: Camilla Passadori of Atwater and Dorothy Williams of Winton; two sons: Marshall Key of Alpine, Wyo., and Donald Rhyne of Bethel Island, Calif.; three sisters: June Haggard of Dixon, Calif., Golda Northern of Memphis, and Helen Bledsoe of West Memphis, Ark.; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

    An infant daughter preceded her in death.
