The author presents some evidence and concludes that William Mayo (named as son-in-law in the 7 Oct 1675 will of John Hardy) was "likely" the step-father of John Johnson, grandson of Alice Tucker.
↑ 2.02.12.2 If it is accepted that the unknown daughter of Arthur Allen and Alice Tucker who was the mother of John Johnson later married William Mayo, then her first husband (this unknown Johnson) must have died before Oct 1675, when William Mayo was named as a son-in-law in the will of Alice Tucker's second husband, John Hardy.
