The author concludes that William Mayo was the second husband of the unknown daughter of Arthur Allen and Alice Tucker who had a son John Johnson by her first husband. Since William Mayo's wife Isabel is named in a 20 Oct. 1691 deed and again in William's 1713 will, but not in the 1709 will of Arthur Allen (son of Arthur Allen and Alice Tucker), the author concludes that the unknown Allen daughter was not the same person as William Mayo's wife Isabel, and therefore must have died by 20 Oct 1691.
