On 18th October 1764, when she would have been about 22, Sarah married a William Fletcher. They went on to have seven children baptised at Kensworth between 1767 and 1785.

William was buried at Kensworth on 17th January 1814. He was said to be 75 years old. It seems likely that there was an illness in the family, as Sarah was buried the very next day. She was 71 years old.

Whilst no named connection has been found, this baptism has been linked to the Sarah Welsh who married William Fletcher on the basis that it is in the same parish in which she married, had all her children and died. It is also about the time suggested by the age quoted at her burial. No evidence has been found to suggest the Sarah baptised in 1742 died young or married anyone else.
