    23. {Families of Old Fairfield} Sarah HULL (ca 1658 ---) (Cornelius(4), George(3), Thomas(2), Richard(1)) daughter of (5) Lt. Cornelius Hull and Rebecca Jones was born, circa 1658, probably at Fairfield, Connecticut. She married (1) probably John Knapp son of Roger Knapp and Elizaeth Dickerson, (2) by 1691 {New England Marriages Prior to 1700} Robert Silliman (---1748) son of Daniel Silliman and Abigail Cole.

    His wife Sarah was named as dau. in will 1695 of Cornelius Hull. He was prob. widow of John Knapp, for Silliman entered caveat against Knapp estates, claimign a right in Est. of John Knapp and also in Est. of "his Mother-in-law" Elizabeth Knapp. Robert also purchased a right from Moses Knapp, and in 1718 made a distribution agreement with Daniel Knapp, bro. of Moses.
    Will 26 July 1746, proved 10 Aug 1748; grandson Samuel Sherwood' daus. Sarah wife of Samuel Hall, Martha wife of Nathaniel Burr, and Rebecca wife of Ebenezer Jennings; sons Robert, Nathaniel, Ebenezer, dau. Ann; three sons-in-law Exec'rs.
