    24 {Families of Fairfield} Martha HULL (ca 1660---) (Cornelius(4), George(3), Thomas(2), Richard(1)) daughter of (5) Lt. Cornelius Hull and Rebecca Jones was born, circa 1660, probably at Fairfield, Connecticut. She married (1) Samuel Smith {will}; (2) by 1695, Cornelius Stratton (---1704) son of John Stratton and Sarah ___ of Easthampton, Long Island; (3) ___ Adams.

    ...(she) was called of Huntington, L.I., when adm'n was granted, 28 Aug 1727, to her sons Joseph and Samuel Stratton. She may have d. before 1710.
    There being two fo the sons of Cornelius Stratton late of Long Island dec'd providentially cast into this Government, on 6 Dec. 1710 the Fairfield Pro. Court appointed his uncle Samuel Hull of Fairfield guardian for Samuel Stratton.
    On 15 April 1718, Samuel Smith and Joseph Stratton of Huntington, L.E., conveyed to Thomas Harvey of Fairfield right from gr. father Cornelius Hull dec'd which he gave to our mother Martha Stratton of Easthampson, L.E., his dau.
    Samuel Stratton of Fairfield conveyed 7 Oct 1723 to Jacob Gray, land laid out to my gr. father Cornelius Hull dec'd and given by will to my mother Martha. On 28 Aug 1727, Joseph and Samuel Stratton and Samuel Smith, Jr., all of Huntington, L.I., conveyed land give to our mother by Cornelius Hull.
