    "Silliman, Robert, s. of Daniel Deputy for Fairfield, May 1722, May and Oct. 1723, May 1724, May and Sept. 1727, May 1728. His wife Sarah was named as dau. in will 1695 of Cornelius Hull. She was prob. widow of John Knapp, for Silliman entered caveat against Knapp estates, claiming a right in Est. of John Knapp and also in Est. of 'his Mothcr-in-law' Elizabeth Knapp. Robert also purchased a right from Moses Knapp, and in 1718 made a distribution agreement with Daniel Knapp, bro. of Moses. Will 26 July 1746, proved 10 Aug. 1748; grandson Samuel Sherwood; daus. Sarah wife of Samuel Hall, Martha wife of Nathaniel Burr, and Rebecca wife of Ebenezer Jennings; sons Robert, Nathaniel, Ebenezer; dau. Ann; three sons-in-law Exec'rs."
