When most of the MANTHEI family emigrated to the United States in 1891, ROSE MANTHEI stayed in Germany. Three of her children, IDA, HERMAN and OTTO emigrated to the United States in 1925, sponsored by ERNESTINE and EMIL SEEFELD of Tomahawk, Wisconsin. They later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.[1]
