McGee to Ribble.
This Indenture made this thirtieth day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and four between Robert McGee of the State of Kentucky and John McGee of Montgomery and State of Virginia Attorney in fact for Robert McGee of the one part and Christopher Ribble of the County and State last mentioned. Witnesseth that the said Robert McGee and John McGee Attorney in fact for Robert McGee for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred and thirty pounds to them in hand paid the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge do give grant bargain and sell to the said Christopher Ribble and to his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of Land containing fifty four acres and One hundred and sixteen poles by survey be the same more or less lying and being in the County of Montgomery on Tours Creek a branch of New River and bounded as follows: Beginning at a stake on the South side of the Creek corner to John Sluser and running thence North 64 degrees West 46 poles to three white oaks on the south side of a hill North 27 degrees West 120 poles to a black oak in the Patton line and with the same South 34 degrees West 108 poles to two pines South 35 degrees East 40 poles to a white oak corner to Mitchel Kinzer’s land and with a line of John McGee’s North 46 degrees East 44 poles to three white oak saplings South 50 degrees East 40 poles to a Stake South 37 degrees West 28 poles to two white oaks corner to Jasper Barger’s Land and with his line South 35 degrees East 57 poles to a black Oak corner to John Sluser’s land and with his line North 54 degrees East 37 poles to a red oak on a steep bank by the creek and with Sluser’s line up the creek 32 poles to the beginning. Together with its appurtenances To Have and To Hold the said parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Christopher Ribble and his heirs and assigns forever to his own proper use and behoof and the said Robert McGee and John McGee Attorney in fact for Robert McGee for themselves and their heirs do covenant with the said Christopher Ribble his heirs the said Robert McGee and John McGee Attorney in fact for Robert McGee and their heirs the said parcel of land with appurtenances to the said Christopher Ribble his heirs or assigns that the said Robert McGee and John McGee Attorney in fact for Robert McGee and their heirs the said land and premises hereby granted and covenanted and every part every part or parcel thereof unto the said Christopher Ribble his heirs or assigns and against themselves and their heirs and all and every person or persons whatsoever shall and will Warrant and forever defend by these presents. In Witness where of the said Robert McGee and John McGee Attorney in fact for Robert McGee have hereunto set their hands and seals this day and year above written..

Robert McGee to Archible Woods
This indenture made this sixth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven Between Robert McGee of Wayne County and State of Kentucky of the one part and Archible Woods of said County and State of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said Robert McGee for and inconsideration of the sum of thirteen hundred and fifty Dollars Kentucky Currency to him in hand paid the receipt whereof the said Robert McGee doth hereby acknowledge and confess himself to be therewith satisfied hath granted bargained sold aliened and confirmed unto the said Archible Woods his heirs executors administrators or assigns a certain tract or parcel of Land containing one hundred and fifty acres be the same more or less and being in the County of Wayne (aforesaid) on Meadows Creek being so much of a military Survey of Eighteen Hundred acres Deeded from Thomas Young to said Robert McGee and Bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at a Mulberry and White Oak in James Daniels fields thence running North 20 degrees East 250 poles to two post Oaks. Thence South 86.5 degrees East 112 poles to two poplars thence South 15 degrees West 250 poles to a crooked Beach, thence North 80 West 115 poles to the Beginning with all and singular the appurtenants thereunto belonging. To have and to hold the said land and premises unto the said Archible Woods his heirs Executors administrators or assigns forever with all and singular its appurtenances unto the said Robert McGee finally doth warrant and forever defend the said land with all its appurtenances unto the said Archiable Woods his Heirs Executors Administrators or assigns forever against any Claims or Claims of all and every other person or persons whatsoever.
