McCoy, Robert - entered service 1778 in Augusta County, Virginia, where born 11/26/1761, son of Captain John who was also Revolutionary War soldier; resided after Revolutionary War in Pendleton County, (area formerly Augusta County) Virginia; moved 1806 to Knox County, Indiana where received Pension in 1832; son General William resided then Pendleton County, Virginia, when a William McCoy, Jr. (no kinship given) was Justice of the Peace there; last Pension payment in file 1840.
