Robert Dale was born around 1793 in Virginia.

His parents were Thomas Dale and Jane (Patterson) Dale.

In 1810 He was listed as being approximately 17 years old and living in the home of his father, Thomas also in the home were:

I believe they were Jane Patterson, Alexander, Isabella Dale, Mary Dale, Elizabeth Dale, Jane Dale, James A Dale, William Dale, Nancy Dale and Sarah Dale. [2]

I have found a record listing Robert Dale as Corporal in the War of 1812. He was part of Dudley’s Mounted Battalion, Kentucky Volunteers. [3]

He was listed as living in Montgomery County as the head of household in 1820. In the home was 1 Male (16-25) and one female (16-25). [4]

He married Mary Susan Johnson on July 11, 1822 in Montgomery County, Kentucky. [5]
