Marriage Records in Madison County, Kentucky support Rebecca Robinson, daughter of James Robinson as marrying 1) John Hind and 2) Lindsay Carson. It is not known if her first husband had died or if they divorced. Rebecca was the mother of the famous American frontiersman, Christopher Houston "Kit" Carson (1809-1868)
