    Quentin Still, 69, died May 9, 1988, at the Mississippi County Hospital in Blytheville, Ark.

    Son of the late Allie "Bud" Still and Bessie Frakes Still, he was born February 20, 1919, at Steele, Mo.

    An active member of the Holland Church of Christ, he was a prominent farmer and owner of Still Gin Company.

    At Marion, Ark. on March 26, 1939 he was united in marriage to Mary Shepherd.

    He leaves the following: his wife, Mrs. Mary Still of Steele; Two sons: Quentin Wayne Still of Hattiesburg, Miss. and Buddy Still of Caruthersville, Mo.; A daughter, Mrs. Darla Fisher of Steele; Two sisters, Mrs. Inez Shelton and Mrs. LaVerne Dodd, both of Steele; A brother, Paul "Duke" Still of Steele and Eight grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held Thursday, May 12, 1988 at 11:00 a.m. at the John W. German Funeral Home in Steele with Mr. Walter Lumpkin officiating.

    Burial was at Pemiscot Memorial Gardens at Caruthersville, Mo. with John W. German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Pallbearers were: Clyde Southern, Bowen Travis, John Smith, Roy Barnes, Buck Ballentine, and Ray Oldsen.
