    Duke Still, 77, of Steele, Mo., died Monday, August 18, 2003, at the Methodist Hospital in Dyersburg, Tenn.

    Born September 21, 1925, in Steele, he was the son of the late Allie "Bud" Still and Bessie Frakes Still.

    He was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

    He served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

    He was a farmer and a member of the Boon's Chapel Church of Christ.

    Duke was united in marriage to Alma Jones on June 12, 1942, in Blytheville, Ark.

    Mr. Still leaves two daughers: Paula Mahon of Dyersburg and Claudia Still of Decatur, Ala.; Two sons: Glenn Still of Dyersburg, and Kevin Still of Caruthersville, Mo.; Eight grandchildren: Lindsay Still, Sarah Still, Glenna Still, April Still Clanton, Paul Lynn Nowlin, Therr Nowlin, Tad Nowlin, and Lani Davidson; and five great-grandchildren.
