Benzie Banner; -- 1962 -- July 12,- Obituary; Death takes Olive Hopkins "Pg. 13" Mrs. Olive Hopkins, 33 of Benzonia, died Wednesday July 4, in Paul Oliver Hospital, Frankfort. She is survived, by her two daughters, Victoria, and Sharon, both at home; two brothers; Dave and John, both of Benzonia; and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Moore of Grand Rapids. Mrs. Hopkins was born October 21, 1928, at Benzonia. Mr. & Mrs. Eric Porter are her parents. She had lived her entire life in Benzonia. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 7, at 2:00 p m with Rev, Philip Dutton officiating, and burial was in the Benzonia cemetery. Entry date; Nov. 14, 2000
