The will of Richard Jackson, probated P. G. Co., Dec. 4, 1698, says, “To Ninian Beall and Edward Segar, their freedom.” Md. Col. Wills, Vol. II, folio 164. His father’s will of 1743 gives him part of land called Largoe, which lyeth on the north side of southwest branch of Patuxent River. A man of wealth.
