    Inherits part of land called Largoe from his father. Will probated at Frederick, April 13, 1765. Liber C C, No. 1, folio 283. Frederick County Administration Accounts, Liber A, folio 400, shows final accounts of estate of Benjamin Beall, dated Dec. 3, 1766. Robert Owen and Mary Beall, his wife, executors. Mentions Andrew Beall, Robert son of Ninian, and James son of Ninian.

    Benjamin Beall believed in insuring the future of his sons by requiring them to learn a trade. His will states, “one son to be bound out to a blacksmith; one son to be bound out to a bricklayer; and one son to be bound out to a house carpenter; and each son to have six years’ schooling.” In the case of his son Lloyd, a good blacksmith went wrong, for he enlisted in the Continental Army in 1776 and died in 1817 a Colonel, U. S. Army. ...
