Oral Traditions

Lived in Childs, PA, about a 10 minute streetcar ride from Carbondale, PA. Childs had coal pits nearby. The B&H Ontario & Western Railroad office was one block from her house.

Graduated from St.Rose's High School and State Teacher's College in Stroudsburg, PA. Received Teaching Certificate as an elementary school teacher in East Stroudsburg, PA 6/4/1928. She was a substitute teacher for two years before she married.

Louise is buried at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton, PA.
