Overview

Matthew Snoddy is believed to be the son of Person:John Snoddy (9) who died c1736. John's will does not identify his children, and the basis for identifying him as Matthew's father is unknown.

In 1751 Matthew "Snowdy" secured a warrant for land in West Hanover Township, Lancaster County.

Matthew Snoddy is listed as a member under the name Mathew Snodey of the Old Hanover Presbyterian Church in Lancaster Co PA (now in Dauphin Co.) Reported there in Notes & Queries by William Henry Egle.
