[RRW] Tillie Wessels was found in the 1900 U S CENSUS as a daughter of Gerd Wessels. ---------- + ---------- Information from Irma Mueller listed this child a Mathilda Mueller. The Census birth month and year matches that of date from Irma. ---------- + ---------- Mrs. Matilda Mueller Dies With Pneumonia Mrs. Fred Mueller of Woodworth died early Monday morning, February 10, at the age of 43 years, 11 months Pneumonia was the immediate cause of her death. Mrs. Matilda Mueller was born March 10, 1892, in Crescent Township She was baptized, received religious instruction, and was confirmed in the Lutheran church in Crescent City. She was married to Fred Muller of Woodworth, February 30, 1918. Since, her marriage she was a communicant member of St. Paul's Lutheran congregation, Woodworth, until January of this year when she, together with her family transferred her church membership to Our Savior Lutheran congregation, Milford. where she, together with her family, attended church services regularly. Mrs. Mueller was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Wessels, from early of Crescent Township, who preceded her in death a few years ago. She is survived by her husband, Fred Mueller, one daughter, Vera, a student in the Watseka high school, two sons, Frederick, 11, and Robert, 6 years old; four brothers, John, William and Harry of Crescent Township, and Fred of Urbana; three sisters, Miss Minnie Wessels, Mrs. Lena Luke and Mrs. Anna McKee of Milford. Her, oldest sister, Sena, also preceded her in death. Besides her husband, children, brothers and sisters, the departed leaves many more distant relatives and a host of friends who mourn her departure. The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon in the Woodorth Lutheran Church, beginning a 1:00 o'clock, with B. F. Prange, pastor of Our Savior Lutheran church, Milford, and Calvary Lutheran church Watseka, in charge. Burial will be at Woodworth Cemetery. The pall bearers will be Henry Boyer, Martin Schroeder, John Rosalius George Hofeling, Hermann Redeke and John Clifton. Flowers arranged by members of the Woodworth Ladies Aid Society. Mrs. Mueller former public school teacher, taught at Gilcrist school, Iroquois school, and Prairie Center school. At the time of her death she was chairman of the East Ash Grove Home Bureau Unit, member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Milford, and the Ladies Aid Society, Milford. _FSFTID: L6L9-X6C _AMTID: 250108267577:1030:113160583 |
