Obituary from Milford Herald News, May 9, 1959 Mrs. Anna McKee, 88, Passes Away Sunday Evening at Saginaw, Michigan Funeral rites for Mrs. Anna 88, a former resident was conducted at 2:00 pm today at Our Savior Lutheran Church, with Pastor, the Rev. Charles Knauft, officiating. Her death at 6:30 pm Sunday (May 9, 1965) occurred at Saginaw, Michigan, at the home of a daughter, Mrs Joseph Peschel, where she made her home the last several month. Burial was made in Maple Grove cemetery with the Jameson Funeral home in charge. Mrs. Joyce Neal, organist for the service, furnished accompaniment for the soloists, Mrs. Robert Hasselbring and Mrs. Harry Rethelford, who sang two hymns, "Rock of Ages" and "Oh, What a Friend We Have in Jesus." Pallbearers were: W. R. Luke, Ralph David, Lowell Wessels, Randoph Wessels, Wendell Wessels and Frederick Mueller. Mrs. McKee was born July 27, 1876 in Crescent Township, the daughter of George and Theda Seibelts Wessels. Her marriage was with Harrison McKee and the couple at one time made their home in Milford where Mr. McKee was employed as road supervisor. They later moved to Gary, Indiana, where Mr. McKee died on September 9, 1963. Mrs. McKee was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church of Milford. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Peschel, Mrs. Earl Bullus of Gary and Mrs. Wallace Wilkening of Waupaka, Wisconsin, a son, W. G.
