Obituary:
The funeral of Mrs. Mary (Coyle) Cass, of 619 Prospect Road, who died Tuesday at St. Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness, will be held today at St. Anthony’s Church, Prospect, where a Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s cemetery, Milford. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Church building fund, Prospect. The Murphy funeral home, 115 Willow St., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cass was the widow of William F. Cass, who at the time of his death in 1969 was assistant superin-tendent of parks in Waterbury. She was born in Waterbury, daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Bra-dy) Coyle. She was a lifelong resident of Waterbury, and a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church in Prospect. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Edward (Patricia) Herbert, of Torento, Ohio, and Mrs. John V. (Jacqueline) Bredice, of Waterbury, 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
