Retired Teacher Succumbs

Miss Margaret E. Coyle, of 619 Prospect Road, a retired teacher, died early Sunday afternoon at St. Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Waterbury, daughter of the late Patrick and Marga-ret (Brady) Coyle. She has been a lifelong resident of the city. A retired teacher in the Waterbury school system, she taught at Welton, Maloney, and Driggs schools prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Connecticut State Teachers Association and the National retired Teachers Association. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Cass of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 8:15 a.m. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 115 Willow Street to St. Anthony’s Church in Prospect for a solemn high Mass at 9. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Mil-ford. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
