DEATH: Not on 1870 census, husband remarried, gap of 6 years between children 

       Sarah (b 1862) and John (b 1868), husband remarried prob 1867.  Based
       on all of that a death date of about 1862 to 1866 is guessed at this
       time. NOTE:  Family tradition was that Jennie Beck's mother died when
       she was young and the children were scattered.  This information, plus
       the location of the children on the 1870 census in various households
       as servants, etc. all fits.

DEATH: I assume the date is from the family Bible. I need to recheck that. The date is found nowhere else that I know of. MARRIAGE: #1 - Mary S _____ (on 1850/60 Census) 

               prob married about 1842 - no record found yet.
