June 6, 1842 aged 71y, 6m, 8d. He was married, born in Ohio, occupation merchant, father Jno Beck, b. Virginia, mother not known, informant Mrs. Mary Beck, North Baltimore, O. He died Dec. 14, 1913 of Senile atrophy and General dibility. He was buried Dec 17, 1913 in Maplewood Cemetery. CHILD: There is a Russell Beck buried in Maplewood Cemetery but he is the son of a William H Beck and Lillie. William's parents were born in PA so this isn't our line. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Henry claimed a disability pension due to civil war injuries and never seemed to have a real job. He uses a Daniel Beck to verify his background twice on his pension records - I presume his Daniel to be his younger brother (not his father as first presumed). NAME-BIRTH: Recorded in the John Beck family Bible - photocopy in my possession. |
