Death called another of our pioneer citizens Thursday at 12.30 noon in the person of Mrs. Mary Gordon who passed away in her 90th year, at the home of Mrs. Dark where she resided since the death of her sister two and a half years ago. She raised her niece the late Anne McDonald, who died in 1918. Since the death of her husband William Gordon she lived with her sister Rebecca and brother William. More than two and a half years ago at the death of her sister she went to live with her brother the late Robt. and Mrs. Dark where she has since resided. She leaves to mourn her three brothers John of Stratford, James and George of Manitoba, two sisters Mrs. Charles Fox of Riding Mountain, Man., and Mrs. Robert Gordon of Saskatoon, Sask. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in Brussels cemetery. Those who attended the funeral from a distance were John Dark, Mrs. Cruickshanks and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roulston of Stratford, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Querengressor of Grey.
