    "Martin Scheideman, retired Lodi district farmer, passed away in his home at 537 East Lodi Avenue yesterday morning at the age of 81. He was a native of Norka, Russia. For the past 41 years he had been a member of the Adventist church.
    Mr. Scheideman was the husband of Mrs. Caroline Scheideman of Lodi, and father of George Scheideman, Henry Scheideman, Miss Lizzie Scheideman, Miss Lena Scheideman, and Isaac Scheideman, all of Lodi; Adam Scheideman of Vallejo, Benjamin Scheideman and Mrs. Esther Chappuis of Lodi.
    He leaves two brothers, George Scheideman of Garden City, Kansas, and Henry Scheideman of Lodi, and a brother-in-law John Young of Lodi.
    Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hilborn Adventist Church, with the Rev. George Loewen officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in the Woodbridge cemetery, under the direction of the Lodi Funeral Home."
