Martha A. "Matt" BUNTYN was born about 1839 in Georgia (probably Pike County). She resided in Georgia during her entire life. Martha was enumerated in her father's household on the 1850 and 1860 censuses.

At some point around 1855, Martha married William T. BAGWELL-HOLDEN. They had one child before William died in 1856.

On 15 December 1868, Martha married James William "Bill Buck" BROWN in Spalding County, Georgia. They were the parents of four known children, all born in Georgia between 1871 and 1881.

Martha has not been located on the 1870 census. She and her family were enumerated on the 1880 census in Militia District 706, Meriwether County, Georgia. They have not been located yet on subsequent censuses.

Martha's date and place of death, and place of burial have not been located yet.
