Marjorie M. Kliefoth, 77, Monona, IA died Monday, April 4, 2005, at Central Community Hospital, Elkader, following a sudden illness. She was born on July 2, 1927, in rural Monona, to Albert and Annie (Chapek) Holly, and was baptized at the Methodist Church in Monona on July 3, 1927. Marjorie graduated from Monona High School. Marjorie was united in marriage to Bernell Kliefoth on January 9, 1948. Three children were born to this union. Survivors include her children, Janice (Doug) Bachman, Monona and Lanny (Jeanine) Kliefoth, St. Lucas; grandchildren, Mike (Rhonda) Bachman, Monona, Chet (Rachel) Bachman, Monona, Alyssa, Erin and Zach Kliefoth, St. Lucas; great-grandchildren, Casey, Cody and Kelby Bachman and Kaylee Bachman; sister, Ellen Voss, Monona; brothers, Louis (Carole) Holly, Monticello and Kenneth (Helen) Holly, Cedar Rapids and sister-in-law, Jeanette Eglseder, Garnavillo. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on October 20, 2002; daughter, Joni Egan; brother, Jim Holly and two brothers-in-law, Arthur Voss and Allen Eglseder.
