LOUIE PERRY ------ Mrs. Louie Lena Perry, 44, died at home, 107 Denver street, early Wednesday morning. She iis survived by her husband Ray E. Perry; a son Raymond; four sisters, Mrs. Cora Groh of Stockbridge, Mrs. Abbie Park, Mrs. Georgia Bowers and Mrs. Mary Groh, all of Lansing and therr brothers, Willie, Charles, and Forgus Gee, all of Lansing. She had lived in Lansing for the past 25 years and was a member of the Judson Memorial Baptist church. The body was removed to the Gorsline-Runciman funeral home. Funeral arrangements to be announced. CONDUCTING AUTOPSY - IN DEATH OF WOMAN ----------------- Corner Ray Gorsline said autopsy would be conducted Wednesday afternoon to determine actual cause of death in the case of Mrs. Louie Lena Perry, 44 of 107 Denver street, who succumbed unexpectedly early Wednesday morning. Gorsline and Mrs. Perry had been in ill health for several years and recently had suffered an attack of influenza which was believed to have contributed to her death. Besides the husband, Ray, she is survived by a son Raymond, four sisters, Mrs. Cora Groh, Stockbridge, Mrs. Abbie Park, Mrs. Georgia Bowers, and Mrs. Mary Groh of Lansing, three brothers, Willis Gee, Charles Gee, and Forgus Gee, all of Lansing. Mrs. Perry had been a resident of Lansing for the past 25 years and was a member of Judson Memorial Baptist Church. The body was removed to Gorsline-Runciman funeral home to await funeral arrangements. PNEUMONIA IS GIVEN AS CAUSE OF DEATH ----------------- Corner Ray Gorsline reported Thursday that an autopsy disclosed that death Wednesday of Mrs. Louie Lena Perry, 44 of 107 Denver street was caused by pneumonia. Mrs. Perry died unexpectedly at her home where she had been confined for the past few years because of poor health. Funeral services for Mrs. Perry will be held from Gorsline-Runciman funeral home at 10 o'clock Saturday. Rev. Gilbert Miles of the Judson Memorial Baptist church will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. Pallbearers will be William and Charles Groh, Robert, Elmer, and Ira Gee, and Harold Bowers, Honorary pallbearers will be Roger and William Gee. |
