She was employed as stenographer, bookkeeper, and cashier at Mobridge, S.D., and Mandan, N.D., 1934-37, cashier, stenographer for Automobile Finance Co., Washington, D.C., June-December, 1937, assistant librarian, U.S. News, 1937-38, junior clerk, stenographer, U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, 1938-39, assistant clerk, stenographer and secretary to special assistant to the chief U.S. Weather Bureau, Washington, D.C., from December, 193 to October 1941. She attended the National University School of Law, Washington, D.C., 1939-40, and the National University Ground School of Flying, on Scholarship from Civil Aeronautics Administration, summer, 1940. She was employed at the U.S. Government Weather Bureau, Ft. Worth, Texas (1941), secretary to the Regional Director U. S. Weather Bureau (Nov 1941 to June 1943) and Personnel Assistant Regional Office, U. S. Weather Bureau, Fort Worth, Texas. She attended 1 year of Personnel Administration at National University in Washington D.C. She worked in the National Weather Service for over 20 years. References
