Six of the eight Hansills mentioned above were children of Lawrence and Esther Hansill, and grandchildren of MICHAEL HANSILL (SR.). As to the other two, Joseph and James W. Hansill, we believe James W. was a great grandson of MICHAEL HANSILL, (SR.) Under "Register of Deaths in Berkeley Co.", Mary Jane Lamar Hansell, daughter of William and Drusilla Lamar of Maryland, died May 29, 1877; information given by Joseph Hensell, husband. Note their marriage record above.
