Obituary 1

Mrs. Laura Folk age 62, widow of George Nelson Folk, well-known farmer of Greene Township, died in her home, Greene Township, near North Liberty, at 12:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Her death followed an illness of 2 1/2 years.

She was born in union Township, October 13, 1868, and had spent all her life in St. Joseph County. Surviving are seven children, Howard Folk of Liberty Township, Mrs. Alva Alexander, of Peoria, Illinois, Mrs. Richard Michaels and Mrs. Glenn Stonbaugh of South Bend, Mrs. Floyd Watson, of Green Township, John Folk, of Williamsport, Indiana, and Miss Sylvia Folk at home. Ms. Folk is a teacher in the Marquette school this city.

Besides her children, Mrs. folk leaves two sisters, Mrs. R. E. Geyer and Mrs. W. O. Cullar, both of Liberty Township, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the North Liberty Methodist Episcopal Church, Friday afternoon at 2:00 with Rev. Clarence Evers, pastor, officiating, burial will be in North Liberty the body may be viewed from 1 to 2:00 in the afternoon and will lie in state in the Church. S10

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura folk, of Greene Township, St. Joseph County, whose death occurred Tuesday, will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the North Liberty Methodist Episcopal Church Rev. Clarence Evers, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the North Liberty Cemetery. Until Friday noon the body may be viewed in the home.
