Durgee, 68, of Port St. Lucie died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000. A native of Osceola, N.Y., he lived in Port St. Lucie for 11 years. Before retirement, he was a builder and a retired N.Y. state maintenance supervisor. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Barbara Durgee of Port St. Lucie; a mother, Irene Durgee; five daughters, Victoria Durgee of Port Orange, Fla., Sharon Fry and Laurel Gyes, both of Vancouver, Wash., Bethany Przestrzelski of Durham, N.C., and Susan Salmons of Fairport, N.Y.; two brothers, Randall Durgee of Fort Ogden, Fla., and William Durgee of Port Charlotte, Fla.; a sister Donna Wood of Utica, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren. Keith was born in Osceola on April 4, 1932. He grew up in Ilion. He worked for the state of New York for 22 years, retiring in 1985. The last nine years of his career were spent in Oneonta where he was maintenance supervisor at the State University College of Oneonta. Keith is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Durgee of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; daughters, Susan Salmons of Rochester, Sharon Frye, of Vancouver, Wash., Victoria Durgee of Daytona, Fla., Laurel Gyes, of Vancouver, Wash., Bethany Przestrzelski of Durham, N.C.; and nine grandchildren.
