Kate Aldridge was baptised on 31st August 1873 at Graveley in Hertfordshire, daughter of Betsy Aldridge, formerly Moles, and her husband Alfred Aldridge, an agricultural labourer. Kate appears in the 1881 census living with her parents and siblings at Graveley. Kate was married in about 1903 to a grocer named Herbert Watson and they settled in London. Kate's father died in 1906. The 1911 census finds Kate's mother and younger sister living with Kate and her family at their grocery shop in Greenwich. Kate has yet to be researched after 1911.
