Frederick Aldridge was born in 1876 at Graveley in Hertfordshire, son of Betsy Aldridge, formerly Moles, and her husband Alfred Aldridge, an agricultural labourer. Frederick appears in the 1881 and 1891 censuses living with his parents and siblings at Graveley. In 1891, aged 14, he was described as an agricultural labourer. He has yet to be researched after 1891.
