    In the 1850 deed book of Lewis County, Missouri is the following record: "James Dunn of Jasper County, Indiana appoints Joseph Dunn of Jasper County, Indiana, his attorney to collect all legacy rights, titles & interest by suit or otherwise in the estate of Zephaniah Dunn, deceased as one of the children & legal heirs of Hannah Dunn, deceased, who was a daughter of James Dunn, deceased who was a brother & legal heir of said Zephaniah Dunn, dec'sd."
