    Zephaniah Dunn, the son of Jeremiah Dunn, born circa 1775, most likely in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. As a youth he moved to northern Kentucky with his parents and family then later to the area of Fayette and Highland County, Ohio, where he married Ann Harrison. They resided in Highland County for a time then moved to the area of Greene County, Indiana, and Daviess County Indiana, then later to Lewis County, Missouri, where they both died.
    Zephaniah died intestate in the year 1846 leaving his widow Ann, a large estate, and no surviving children. . . . The petition for partition [settled October 1848] named the heirs at law of Zephaniah Dunn as follows:
    Zephaniah Dunn left the following persons his heirs, to wit: Robert Dunn and John Dunn, surviving brothers. The descendants of James Dunn, a deceased brother, to wit: Alvin Dunn and the infant heirs of Hannah Dunn, a daughter of said James Dunn, deceased, who intermarried with one Buriah Dunn. The descendants of Sophia Harrison, a sister of said intestate, to wit: William Harrison and the descendants of Elizabth Harrison, a daughter of said Sophia, who intermarried with one John Seaman, to wit: Harrison Seaman, Sophpia Seaman and Robert Seaman a minor, children and heirs o said Elizabeth. Also the infant heirs of Jackson Seaman, a son of said Elizabeth, who died leaving a widow who is entitled to dower in the said Jackson Seaman's interest, whose name is unknown.
