Jeremiah Dunn was born circa 1765, most likely in Frederick County, Virginia. He moved with his parents and family to southwestern Pennsylvania then to northern Kentucky, where he was first listed on the tax records of Harrison County in 1795. During the year 1794 a Jeremiah Dunn was reported as a private in Conn's Battalion of the Kentucky Mounted Volunteers. Jeremiah evidently died without issue before the year 1846.
