Early Settlers in central part of [Warren] county inc. Samuel Harrison, Uriah Dunn, Christopher Pitzer, James B. Harrison, Nimrod Harrison
[Note: Samuel Harrison, Christopher Pitzer, James B. Harrison, and Nimrod Harrison are all presumed relatives of William Harrison who married Sophia Dunn, aunt of Buriah's wife Hannah and an early settler in Warren County, Indiana. William Harrison Dunn, Buriah and Hannah's third son, would seem to be the namesake of William Harrison, born about the time that Buriah and Hannah may have been (temporarily) in Warren County, Indiana.)

- ↑ Estimated birth date based on 1830 and 1840 Census; voted and served on jury duty in 1826, implying that he was at least 21 at that time.
Birth place unknown - Josiah in 1850 gives KY as birth place; but 1880 Census, sons Joseph in Coles county, IL and Wm H. in Cowley county, KS give father’s birth place as PA Josiah Dunn is usually considered a brother, since some of Buriah's children went to live with him after Buriah's and Hannah's deaths. Samuel Mitchell Dunn also considered a brother. He, Josiah, Buriah and Joseph were all in association with each other in Hendricks County, and Samuel, like Josiah and Buriah, named a first or second son Joseph. Some of Buriah's children also lived with Samuel after Buriah's death. In 1850 Samuel gives birth place as VA. Sarah Dunn is another possible sibling, primarily because there seems to be no other family to which she can be linked, and her marriage to Buriah's brother-in-law Alvin Dunn was performed by a Joseph Dunn.
- ↑ Early property records for Boone County were lost in a courthouse fire, so if/when and to whom Buriah sold the land is unknown.
